The Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer monitors and controls large network systems from a central location, focusing on network/system troubleshooting, alarm response, and issue resolution. This is a 100% on-site position requiring strict adherence to SLAs.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Monitor network and server systems and respond to alerts.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and document network/system issues.
- Manage incident reports and perform hardware/software checks.
- Collaborate with vendors/carriers to resolve issues.
- Use network management tools to track performance and traffic statistics.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or IT-related fields.
- Minimum 3+ year of relevant experience.
- Willingness to work shifting schedules, including weekends.
- Cisco/Microsoft certifications and ITIL knowledge are advantageous.

Technical Competencies:
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting network infrastructures.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools (WhatsUp Gold, Solarwinds, Zabbix, etc.).
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining detailed documentation.
