Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Route Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-materials concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document entries, exits, incidents, and observations in required reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, contractors, and emergency responders while following established post orders and escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge processes is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
