As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet technology as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of industrial facilities, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and delivery personnel, and documenting entries, exits, and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while maintaining professional communication with site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
