Position Summary
As a Maintenance Crew Member you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the beauty, functionality, and safety of our clients' outdoor spaces. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will perform various landscaping tasks to ensure that our clients' properties are well-manicured, aesthetically pleasing, and in optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Landscape Maintenance: Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning, to keep lawns, shrubs, and trees looking neat and healthy.
- Plant Care: Assist in planting, watering, fertilizing, and mulching various plants, flowers, and shrubs to promote their growth and vitality.
- Weed Control: Identify and remove weeds from garden beds, lawns, and other landscaped areas to maintain a clean and attractive appearance.
- Irrigation Management: Monitor and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper watering schedules and addressing any issues promptly to prevent over-watering or under-watering.
- Hardscape Maintenance: Clean and maintain hardscape elements such as pathways, patios, and retaining walls, ensuring they are free from debris, moss, and other contaminants.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate landscaping equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and small machinery, following proper operating procedures and maintenance protocols.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
- Client Communication: Interact professionally with clients when on-site, addressing their questions and concerns, and providing recommendations for landscape improvement if necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a crew, cooperating with team members to complete tasks efficiently and achieve high-quality results.
- Landscaping Projects: Participate in special landscaping projects, such as seasonal plantings, landscape renovations, and installations, to enhance the overall appearance of properties.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist in cleaning, maintaining, and organizing landscaping equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Requirements
Physical Environment/Working Conditions
Job requires extensive use of back, legs, knees, arms, feet and hands for lifting, stooping, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, pulling, pushing, reaching overhead, and walking. Unassisted lifting limits are between 30 and 50 lbs. Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
May involve exposure to allergens, pesticides, and other landscaping chemicals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or outdoor maintenance is a plus.
- Knowledge of various plants, shrubs, and trees commonly found in the local area.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.
- Willingness to learn and follow company guidelines and procedures.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
