2020 Companies is seeking a highly motivated, charismatic Lead Generation Specialist to build a consistent pipeline of qualified new-business opportunities. This person will identify prospects, research new industries and verticals, and conduct high-volume outreach through cold calls, email, and LinkedIn.
The ideal candidate is persistent, persuasive, highly organized, and not afraid of hearing “no.” This role requires someone who can confidently initiate conversations with decision-makers while maintaining detailed, accurate records in HubSpot.
Location: Remote - Candidates in the Pacific or Central time zones preferred
Salary Range: $65,000-70,000 annually

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Research prospective clients, emerging markets, and new industry verticals that align with 2020 Companies’ services and growth strategy
- Identify companies, decision-makers, and relevant business contacts using LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, industry resources, and other research tools
- Build and manage targeted prospect lists and outbound campaigns
- Complete a minimum of 50 outbound calls and 50 personalized prospecting emails each business day
- Conduct consistent LinkedIn outreach, including connection requests, direct messages, follow-ups, and engagement with relevant prospects
- Engage senior-level decision-makers through cold calling, email, LinkedIn, and professional networking
- Qualify prospects based on business needs, decision-making authority, timing, program scope, and potential opportunity
- Schedule qualified introductory meetings for Business Development and Client Solutions leaders
- Develop, test, and refine call scripts, email templates, LinkedIn messages, value propositions, and objection-handling responses
- Serve as a HubSpot administrative expert for lead-generation activities, including contact management, list segmentation, workflows, sequences, reporting, dashboards, and data quality
- Record all calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, responses, notes, follow-up activities, and lead-status changes accurately and promptly in HubSpot
- Maintain a clean, organized CRM pipeline with a clear status and next step for every active prospect
- Conduct persistent, professional follow-up across multiple communication channels
- Partner with the Vice President of Client Solutions to prioritize industries, verticals, target accounts, and outreach campaigns
- Track activity, response rates, qualified leads, meetings scheduled, conversion rates, and other performance metrics
- Share market intelligence, prospect feedback, common objections, competitive insights, and emerging opportunities with leadership
- Follow all applicable telephone, email, LinkedIn, privacy, and company communication requirements
Performance Expectations

Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in cold calling, outbound lead generation, inside sales, business development, or a similar high-volume sales role
- Strong working knowledge of HubSpot, including CRM administration, contact management, lists, sequences, workflows, reporting, and database maintenance
- Experience using ZoomInfo for company research, contact identification, list building, and lead qualification
- Strong proficiency with LinkedIn for prospect research, relationship development, and outbound outreach
- Experience researching new industries, verticals, companies, and prospective buyers
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn contacts every day
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Charismatic, confident, professional, and comfortable initiating conversations with new prospects
- Resilient and persistent, with the ability to hear “no” and continue prospecting with a positive attitude
- Strong ability to write and adapt sales scripts, email messaging, LinkedIn outreach, and objection-handling responses
- Exceptional record-keeping, organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
- Ability to personalize outreach while maintaining a high level of daily productivity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common sales-productivity tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling outsourced services, third-party labor, staffing, field sales, retail activation, merchandising, experiential marketing, or workforce solutions
- Experience prospecting into enterprise or national accounts
- Familiarity with multi-location retail, consumer technology, telecommunications, or related industries
- Experience supporting longer, consultative B2B sales cycles
- Previous responsibility for HubSpot administration or sales-operations support
