Reporting to the Production Line Supervisor, you will monitor and assist in line production labor while ensuring product quality. You will join a diverse team of over 400 associates.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, Fridays when needed
Shift: 2nd Shift
Hours: 4:00pm-2:30am (10 hour days, 4 days a week)
Starting Pay: $20.19/hour plus shift differential
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
You will be making Odom’s Tennessee Pride and Sandwich Bros.’s sandwich products by hand. This would include adding meat and/or cheese within the biscuit or flatbread pocket.
This role requires working in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining product quality and food safety standards.
Production Specialists are expected to achieve established line performance goals. Current production targets include: 32 or 27 sandwiches per minute depending on assembly line assignment.
You will help to perform product checks on Sandwich Bros. and Odom's Tennessee Pride products to ensure quality for our consumers
Our goal is to keep improving and developing efficient processes within our production line, you as production worker will play an active role
Cleanliness is important at our facilities. You will help with equipment sanitation and maintain a clean work area
You will follow Quality Assurance standards
Production workers will be trained and developed to support any position on the production line
Ingredients Required for Your Success
Overtime may be needed to ensure fulfill production demand
This is a physical position. You will be asked to do things like, lifting boxes of up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs, using your hands in freezer environment
This is a manufacturing environment with large machinery and moving parts that can be noisy. Safety is important to us, we provide earplugs and other personal protective equipment
Physical Requirements
Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements may vary but can include:
Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
Also be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary. More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process.
