The Role

The Director, Sales – Mexico, is responsible for developing and executing the market sales strategy to accelerate revenue growth, strengthen Brand Ambassador engagement, and build a sustainable leadership pipeline across Mexico. This role leads a team of Field Development Specialists while partnering closely with Marketing, Sales Operations, Compliance, and Customer Experience to deliver a consistent, localized field experience that drives enrollments, retention, activation, and rank advancement.

Success in this role requires a highly visible leader who thrives in the field, builds trusted relationships, and inspires action through coaching, education, recognition, and strategic execution. By combining regional events, leadership development, and virtual engagement, this leader will help relaunch and expand one of Plexus' highest growth opportunities. This position requires up to 20% travel throughout Mexico and full bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

Key Performance Objectives

The successful candidate will:

  • Develop and execute a scalable sales strategy that delivers sustained revenue growth across Mexico.
  • Increase Brand Ambassador enrollments, activation, retention, and customer acquisition to strengthen long-term market performance.
  • Build a structured field education and leadership development program that accelerates leader progression and increases rank advancement.
  • Expand field engagement by increasing participation in regional events, virtual training, recognition programs, and business-building activities.
  • Develop a sustainable pipeline of future leaders through coaching, mentoring, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Use market insights and performance metrics to continuously optimize strategy, improve execution, and exceed business objectives.

Performance Accountabilities

The following are the essential accountabilities for this role:

  • Develop and execute the Mexico sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Field Development Specialists, creating accountability, capability, and execution excellence across the market.
  • Partner with Brand Ambassadors and field leaders to identify growth opportunities, strengthen leadership capability, and increase organizational productivity.
  • Design and deliver localized onboarding, leadership development, and business education programs that accelerate field success.
  • Drive regional growth initiatives through city development strategies, opportunity meetings, field events, and virtual engagement.
  • Create impactful recognition programs that celebrate achievement, inspire performance, and strengthen community throughout the Mexico network.
  • Analyze sales performance and field insights to identify trends, refine growth strategies, and improve key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Operations, Compliance, Customer Experience, and Product teams to deliver a seamless and culturally relevant field experience.
  • Represent Plexus at major market events, leadership meetings, and Annual Convention while serving as a trusted advisor to top field leaders.
  • Champion operational excellence by establishing consistent processes, sharing best practices, and continuously improving field execution across Mexico.
  • Travel throughout Mexico to strengthen field relationships, support regional expansion, and drive market growth.

Performance Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including at least 3 years leading leaders and high-performing sales teams.
  • Experience within Direct Selling, network marketing, or a relationship-driven sales organization preferred.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing market growth strategies.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% throughout Mexico.
