General Summary:

This role supports day-to-day IAM operations and access request fulfillment while contributing to process improvements and light automation. It blends hands-on identity and access management execution with opportunities to apply systems knowledge to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scale.

## Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Process identity and access requests including provisioning, deprovisioning, and modifications based on approved service tickets
• Execute joiner, mover, leaver activities to ensure user accounts and access are correctly established and removed in a timely manner
• Validate approvals and ensure requests comply with established access control policies and procedures
• Fulfill access requests across enterprise systems such as Active Directory, cloud applications, and internal platforms
• Support access review (certification) activities by gathering data, tracking responses, and updating records
• Troubleshoot and resolve common access issues including login failures, account lockouts, and missing permissions
• Identify opportunities to streamline or automate repetitive IAM tasks and partner with senior team members to implement improvements
• Contribute to scripting or configuration changes that improve IAM workflows, accuracy, or reporting
• Maintain accurate records of all actions performed within ticketing and identity systems to support auditability
• Meet defined SLAs for access request fulfillment and incident resolution
• Maintain high accuracy rates on access provisioning to support audit and compliance requirements
• Follow documented IAM processes and standard operating procedures consistently
• Escalate complex, sensitive, or high-risk requests to senior team members for review
• Collaborate with internal users, IT teams, and application owners to resolve access-related issues

## Preferred Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in IT support, security operations, identity and access management, or related systems administration
• Experience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar
• Working knowledge of identity platforms such as Active Directory or Entra ID
• Familiarity with access control principles including least privilege and role-based access
• Exposure to scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, or similar) is a plus
• Basic understanding of authentication concepts such as SSO, MFA, SAML, or OAuth is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow defined processes accurately
• Ability to manage a queue of requests and meet defined service level targets
• Bilingual English and Spanish written and verbal communication skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work with internal stakeholders to resolve issues
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent professional experience

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of cybersecurity-relevant work experience.

OR

High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of cybersecurity-relevant work experience.
