As a Managed Services - Expense Accounting - Senior Associate you will support outsourced expense accounting processes, including client interaction, data review, processing, quality control checks, and resolution of queries and escalations within our Assurance practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex situations, build client relationships, mentor junior team members, and use critical thinking to handle ambiguous work while developing a deeper understanding of the business context and your own technical skills. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Kolkata, you will help deliver assigned workstreams, interpret data to inform recommendations, and uphold professional and technical standards while contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of managed service delivery.

Responsibilities
Independently manage month-end accounting activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepaid amortization, intercompany and fixed asset accounting, and month-end journal entries.

Ensure financial accuracy and control through account reviews, detailed variance analysis, timely cleanup of asset/liability accounts, and support for audit samples and queries.

Provide review and process improvement support by reviewing junior team members’ work, identifying opportunities to improve deliverables, and maintaining strong relationships with peers and onshore stakeholders.

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
