Description
As People Operations (HR) Coordinator, you’ll be both a friendly face of HR and the person who keeps its operations running smoothly. You’ll welcome new hires and lead onboarding and orientation, coordinate company events and volunteer activities, and serve as a first point of contact for employee questions. Behind the scenes, you’ll support the People Operations (HR) Manager by keeping employee records, Paylocity data, benefits and leave paperwork, and compliance documentation accurate and on schedule.

What You'll Do
HR Administration & Records
- Enter and maintain employee data in Paylocity, including new hires, job and pay changes, PTO, terminations, and standard reports
- Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files, I-9s, and HR records
- Process time card corrections
- Track recurring HR and compliance deadlines and send reminders to managers
Benefits & Leave Administration
- Process benefits enrollments, and answer general benefits questions
- Prepare and track FMLA, parental, and bereavement leave paperwork, and process unemployment claims
Recruiting & Onboarding Administration
- Post jobs, schedule interviews, and prepare offer letters and serve as the main point of contact with our staffing partner for hourly hiring
- Prepare new hire paperwork and set up new hires in Paylocity
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation
Employee Relations Support
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions on policy and process
- Support investigations by scheduling meetings and interviews, taking notes, maintaining confidential case documentation, and preparing standard correspondence
Culture & Engagement
- Coordinate company events, volunteering, and community partnerships, including vendor communication, setup, and day-of support
- Send internal communications for people programs, milestones, and events
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Required
- Experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines at once
- Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information
- Clear, approachable communicator who is comfortable presenting to groups
- Basic understanding of HR practices and employment law
- Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office
Preferred
- Experience with Paylocity
- Background in manufacturing or the beverage industry
- Experience planning events and working with vendors
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
