Sales Manager

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Sales Manager to take a leading role in driving the continued growth of our business. In this position, you will be at the forefront of our commercial strategy, taking ownership of generating new business, building lasting client relationships, and turning opportunities into memorable, profitable events while leading a dedicated sales team.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities to drive the company's commercial growth.
• Client Management: Nurture and strengthen long-term, profitable relationships with existing clients.
• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and provide ongoing support and direction to the sales team.
• Consultation & Sales: Consult with clients to understand their specific event requirements and convert enquiries into confirmed business.
• Proposals & Negotiation: Develop compelling, customized commercial proposals and confidently negotiate terms and contracts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operational teams in a fast-paced environment to ensure client ideas are seamlessly translated into successfully delivered events.
• Reporting: Prepare accurate commercial proposals and regular sales reports for management review.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a sales role, ideally within the catering, weddings, or events industry.
• A Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Proven ability to generate new business, prepare commercial proposals, and develop strong client relationships.
• The confidence and capability to lead, motivate, and support a high-performing sales team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, coupled with strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• A highly commercial and results-focused approach, with the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with wider teams.
• Confident user of Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and event management software.
• Full fluency in both Maltese and English.
• A valid driving licence is required.
