What you’ll be doing

• Advise business owners, founders, boards, senior executives and investors on corporate and commercial matters.
• Manage mergers and acquisitions, business sales, private capital investments and joint ventures.
• Draft and negotiate shareholder agreements, commercial contracts and other transactional documentation.
• Provide strategic advice on business structuring, corporate governance and commercial arrangements.
• Oversee transactions from initial structuring and due diligence through to negotiation and completion.
• Build trusted client relationships while collaborating with senior lawyers and specialists across the firm.

Skills & experience

• 3–7 years' post-admission experience in private practice.
• Strong experience in corporate transactions, M&A and general commercial matters.
• Sound commercial judgement, analytical skills and the ability to identify key legal issues.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience managing matters independently, building client relationships and working collaboratively.
