Role Overview

As part of our MSc in Artificial Intelligence for Business Transformation, we are seeking a Lecturer in Business Strategy with AI to teach a capstone-style module that brings together the elements of the programme into a cohesive strategic perspective on leveraging AI for business transformation. The module covers strategic foresight and scenario planning with AI, value creation and capture in the digital age (business model innovation, platform economics, ecosystems), emerging AI technology trends and competitive landscapes, AI-driven business strategy, AI maturity and readiness assessment, AI transformation roadmaps, lean and agile AI transformation, AI governance, and the EU AI Act, GDPR and AI ethics.

The successful candidate will guide postgraduate students in envisioning AI-enabled opportunities, evaluating organisational readiness and designing AI transformation roadmaps, preparing them to lead AI-driven initiatives from conception through implementation while upholding ethical principles and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, seminars and workshops on AI strategy, business model innovation and AI-driven transformation (36 teaching hours in presence at the H-FARM Campus)
• Teach and apply strategic foresight methodologies, scenario planning, and structured frameworks for building competitive advantage through AI
• Guide students in AI maturity and readiness assessments, capability gap analysis, and the design of phased AI transformation roadmaps with clear success metrics
• Cover AI governance, risk management and the regulatory landscape, including the EU AI Act (risk classification, compliance obligations), GDPR applied to AI, bias detection and mitigation, and responsible AI deployment
• Integrate real-world case studies, industry insights and guest speakers from companies and start-ups
• Collaborate with faculty and industry partners to keep the curriculum aligned with fast-evolving AI technologies and business practices
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching materials, course content and assessment methods, including the effective and critical use of AI tools in learning

Qualifications & Experience

• C1 level of English (teaching language)
• A Ph.D. (preferred) or Master’s in Strategic Management, Business Administration, Digital Transformation, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of business strategy, business model innovation and digital/platform economics, combined with a solid understanding of AI technologies and their business applications
• Working knowledge of AI governance, the EU AI Act, GDPR and AI ethics frameworks
• Experience in teaching at postgraduate level (preferred)
• Professional experience in AI strategy, digital transformation, management consulting or technology leadership is a strong plus
• Familiarity with agile and lean methodologies applied to AI or digital projects
• Excellent analytical, communication and mentoring skills, and passion for helping students lead responsible AI-driven change

What We Offer

• Contract type: freelance collaboration, or coordinated and continuous collaboration contract (co.co.co.)
• Compensation: €5,000 to €6,500 gross for the whole module, depending on experience. For VAT-registered professionals, VAT and social security contributions are added where applicable.
