Inside Sales Representative (German)

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a global sales and revenue growth organisation, that is seeking to onboard a German-speaking Inside Sales Representative to support a leading global technology provider's Education business across the EMEA region.

The role focuses on new business development, outbound prospecting and pipeline generation, helping educational institutions identify technology solutions that support teaching, learning and digital transformation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prospect and engage schools, colleges, universities and other educational organisations across assigned EMEA markets

• Execute outbound sales campaigns via phone, email, LinkedIn and other engagement channels

• Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, business objectives and technology requirements

• Deliver tailored solution presentations and product demonstrations

• Identify new business opportunities and cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts

• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, progressing opportunities throughout the sales cycle

• Meet or exceed activity, pipeline, customer engagement and revenue targets

• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities and forecasts within CRM systems

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, channel partners and client teams

• Share customer insights, market intelligence, competitor information and product feedback with internal teams

• Participate in business reviews and pipeline discussions with leadership and key stakeholders

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, digital transformation and the education technology landscape

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluency in German and English

• At least 1 year of experience in Business Development, Inside Sales, Account Management or New Business Sales

• Experience with outbound prospecting and generating qualified sales opportunities

• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to build customer relationships and influence decision-makers

• Experience working towards sales, pipeline and revenue targets in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems and productivity tools
