Employee Benefits Sales Leader
Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and experienced Employee Benefits (EB) Sales Leader to join a team. This is a unique opportunity for a proven professional with a strong background in employee benefits sales and leadership to make a significant impact. The ideal candidate will have a track record of building and managing a successful book of business, extensive experience with self-funded accounts, and the ability to coach and lead a team of producers.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $250,000 - $450,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package offered
- Work Environment: Hybrid model with 4 days on-site per week
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 12-15 producers, providing coaching, mentorship, and strategic guidance to drive team success.
- Oversee the development and growth of a book of business, with a focus on employee benefits accounts ranging from 200 to 1,000 average lives.
- Utilize expertise in self-funded accounts to support the team and clients effectively.
- Collaborate with local leadership and other stakeholders to align sales strategies with organizational goals.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of team members to ensure a high-performing department.
- Engage in sales activities as needed, with a focus on fostering client relationships and driving revenue growth.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven track record as a producer, having built a book of business generating over $1 million in revenue within the employee benefits space.
- Strong expertise in self-funded accounts is essential.
- Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team of producers.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Licensure and designations relevant to the employee benefits industry are preferred.
- Availability to work on-site in Madison for at least 4 days per week.
