Key Responsibilities
- Support R&D and manufacturing teams in the design, development, and improvement of mechanical equipment, fixtures, tooling, and automated systems.
- Create, modify, and maintain 3D mechanical designs, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into equipment and mechanical design solutions.
- Work directly with global suppliers and vendors to define specifications, review designs, resolve technical issues, and manage project execution.
- Support equipment installation, qualification, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities.
- Analyze equipment and process issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Apply engineering standards, best practices, and design principles to improve equipment reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in new technology development, process enhancement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing operations to maintain production performance and restore process capability when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in mechanical equipment design, manufacturing technology, automation, or related engineering fields.
- Proficient in 3D CAD design software; SolidWorks preferred.
- Experience with mechanical systems, machine design, fixtures, tooling, or automation equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and mechanical specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills with the ability to work directly with overseas vendors and suppliers.
