Commercial Lines Agent – Service/Inbound Sales
Job Summary
Seeking a highly experienced and motivated Commercial Lines Agent to join a growing team. This role involves managing accounts from start to finish, including quoting, renewals, policy updates, and responding to inbound customer inquiries. With a strong focus on customer service and account management, will work with a diverse portfolio of accounts, including farms, restaurants, and other businesses.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial lines accounts from start to finish, including quoting, renewals, and policy updates.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inbound inquiries and assisting clients with their insurance needs.
- Handle a variety of accounts, including farms, restaurants, and other businesses with premiums of $5,000 or more.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the agency management system (AMS360 experience is a plus but not required).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless account management and client satisfaction.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a solid independent agency.
- Strong background in commercial lines insurance is essential.
- Familiarity with quoting and renewing business.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in using agency management systems (AMS360 experience preferred but not mandatory).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in insurance is a plus.
