Bar Barista seeks only the most enthusiastic, creative and inspired individuals who demonstrate passion, imagination and discipline in front and back of house hospitality operations.  This position has the unique role of engineering signature food and drink as well as customizing the guest experience through exceptional and personalized service. If you would like to be on a team of Great People delivering great service, we may have just the opportunity for you!

The job involves:

• Barista experience with coffee/espresso machines and a passion for coffee culture
• Mixing, garnishing, and serving beverages
• Greeting guests, taking and preparing orders for food and beverages from guests in a manner conducive to a Barista Bar/Lounge style environment
• Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Suggesting appropriate beverages and answering questions regarding preparation, garnishing and decorating dishes preparatory to serving
• Serves patrons according to established rules of etiquette.
• Clearing and resetting for guests in a timely manner
• Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
• Exposure to noise and the ability to lift and push up to 20 lbs
• Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
• Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation

The ideal candidate has:

• OSSD or equivalent as recognized by the Ministry
• Minimum one year barista & or similar style serving experience
• Smart Serve certification & Food Handler Training Certificate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• A positive attitude and good work ethic
• Culinary experience considered an asset
