Your role at St John of God Ballarat

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate Physiotherapist (Grade 1) to join our friendly and dynamic Exercise Rehabilitation Unit, on a permanent full-time basis.

As an integral part of the Allied Health Department, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality physiotherapy service to our hospital inpatients. An in-service program and professional development opportunities exist to support you and your clinical skills.

The Position

• Provide high-quality evidence based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments where applicable.

• Using patient-centered care work with the patient to develop appropriate physiotherapy treatment goals and plans for all patients/clients.

• Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers including active participation in the multidisciplinary team meetings

• Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities

• Participate in the physiotherapy department weekend roster if required.

• Assist with education and training programs for students as requested

To succeed you have experience in providing evidence-based physiotherapy practices in clinical settings including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments, excellent verbal & written communication skills and able to work independently and within a team.

Successful applicants will be currently registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA). Post-graduate qualifications in the relevant area will be highly regarded.

We can offer you

• Salary (from July 1st, 2026): $72,992 to $117,553 plus 12% Superannuation

• Permanent full-time or part-time opportunities available
