Our Shared Service Centre (SSC) is currently looking for a Junior Accountant (m/f). This is an opportunity for a talented, self-motivated individual to develop their skill set and network in PwC, working with experienced Accounting and Finance practitioners across the region.
What will be your responsibilities?
- provide administrative and accounting support to clients administered by the SSC
- control, verify and prepare invoices for final processing
- process outgoing invoices (AR) according to internal procedures
- prepare payment orders / runs
- coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities
- process bank statement and bank account reconciliation
- prepare information for financial statements and general ledger
- communicate with English speaking clients in order to resolve routine queries and problems

Personality requirements and skills
- experience in a similar or an accounting position is an advantage
- fluent English language spoken and written (B2)
- experience with SAP S/4 is an advantage
- sense of detail and precision required
- strong organizational & technical skills with a desire to seek new learning opportunities
- ability to think and plan ahead, be flexible, to cope with tight deadlines, to quickly shift gears in a dynamic environment
- In today’s workplace, familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and Power BI is valuable. We seek someone who uses AI to enhance productivity, supports decision-making with AI insights, embraces continuous learning, and balances human judgment with data. Salary (brutto): from 1 500 € (The stated salary represents the minimum for this position. Final compensation is determined individually based on your experience, expertise, seniority, and overall profile. In addition, we offer a performance-based bonus linked to individual results and the company’s success.)
