Junior Accountant (f/m/d) - Accounts Payable

MEININGER Hotels is looking for an Junior Accountant (f/m/d) - Accounts Payable who will be managing the purchase ledger, resolving all queries in a timely manner and ensure that all payments are made to terms.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts payable - Kreditorenbuchhaltung:
• Invoice verification, account assignment and posting of vendor invoices, account reconciliation and 
supplier communication 
• Monthly postings for Inventory, Petty cash, Salary, Recurring bookings 
• General ledger and subledger reconciliation (management of open items) 
• Master data creation and maintenance of vendor 
• Processing of incoming mail 
• Document Management Administration 

Cash Management:
• Preparation of the weekly payment proposal lists 
• Processing of domestic and foreign payment transactions  
• Payment and Monitoring of Trade payables  

Miscellaneous: 
• Supports month-end processes to ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close 
• Participation in the optimization of internal processes 

YOUR PROFILE 

• Educational degree or relevant qualifications in Accounting 

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role 

• Good user skills in ERP Software (ideally Dynamics AX or Navision) with a high level command of MS-Office (especially MS Excel) 

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines 

• Business proficiency in English and German
