Your role at Clorox:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team supporting U.S. operations. This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a desire to grow within a dynamic, international environment.

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting daily accounting activities, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and contributing to month-end close processes in compliance with U.S. accounting standards.

• Support daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and transaction processing

• Assist in month-end and year-end close activities

• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in the U.S.

• Assist with audits and provide required documentation

• Participate in process improvement initiatives within GBS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 1+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance roles

• Advanced English level

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data handling)

Preferred qualifications:

• Strong understanding of accounting principles (preferably US GAAP)

• Experience with ERP systems is a plus (SAP S/4HANA preferred but not mandatory)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
