A day in the life.
As our Employee Health & Benefits Senior Marketing Analyst on the Benefits team, you'll lead our benefits marketing initiatives while managing the placement of new large group benefits business and new lines of coverage for existing clients. You'll coordinate across departments to ensure marketing excellence, maintain carrier relationships, and drive the strategy that brings new and renewal business to our agency.
Your key responsibilities:
- Ensure benefits marketing meets deadlines with accurate proposals and presentations
- Pre-qualify new business and coordinate proposal preparation with producers and account management
- Design insurance plans for prospects and coordinate with carriers on applications and quotations
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Account Managers, Benefits Consultants/Account Executives, and Client Service teams to produce deliverables
- Maintain and develop professional relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Produce marketing activity reports and stay informed on industry trends, products, and technology
- Support the team with analytical skills, communication excellence, and multi-task management
- Provide mentorship, coaching and development to the current marketing team through ongoing training and performance support to enhance service delivery and professional growth

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
- Current Florida 2-15 Insurance License (or equivalent state license)
- Strong understanding and experience with alternative funding strategies for employee benefits including self-funded, captive and reference based pricing (RBP) plans.
- College degree and supervisory experience, or two years of related benefits marketing experience
- Strong marketing and communication skills with clients, carriers, and prospects in Employee Health & Benefits
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to organize and maintain electronic files using document management systems
- Knowledge of BenefitPoint, ImageRight, or willingness to quickly learn
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
- Advanced knowledge of benefits software systems and platforms
- Proven track record of successful team leadership and staff development
- Experience with large group benefits and carrier relationships
