As a Security Officer Alarm Response Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer for a commercial real estate location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working as part of an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common spaces, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting maintenance issues, unusual conditions, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
