Job Description

As a Security Officer Alarm Response Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer for a commercial real estate location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working as part of an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common spaces, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity, reporting maintenance issues, unusual conditions, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
