Role summary:As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the delivery of scalable software solutions by managing feature implementation, testing, and ongoing support within collaborative teams. This role requires expertise in software development lifecycle, including coding, debugging, and continuous integration, while integrating AI/ML components to enhance platform capabilities. You will contribute to solution design, technical leadership, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure alignment with business objectives. Emphasizing quality, innovation, and operational excellence, you will mentor peers and drive continuous improvement to support Walmart’s technology goals and customer-focused outcomes.
About the team:
The Client Telemetry Engineering team is dedicated to enhancing how Walmart monitors and improves endpoint experiences across over 320,000 Windows, Mac, and virtual desktop devices. The team develops an intelligent telemetry platform that supports proactive monitoring, automated issue resolution, and delivers actionable insights spanning hardware, operating systems, applications, networks, and services. Focused on innovation and reliability, the team collaborates to design scalable solutions that drive operational excellence and improve associate productivity through advanced software development and continuous improvement practices.
What you'll do:
- Own delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams, ensuring alignment with platform and system objectives.
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, efficient code using languages such as JavaScript, Python, and C++.
- Integrate AI/ML components and leverage GenAI tools to enhance software capabilities and development efficiency.
- Participate in solution design, conduct code reviews, and apply object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
- Monitor application performance, support CI/CD pipelines, and ensure reliable software deployment and maintenance.
- Collaborate across teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
- Mentor peers, promote engineering best practices, and drive continuous improvement and innovation.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
