Treasurer 

We’re seeking a Treasurer who will be primarily responsible for managing the Bank’s balance sheet to optimize earnings, liquidity, capital, and interest rate risk while ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations and supporting strategic growth objectives.  

Responsibilities

• Manage liquidity, funding, and contingency planning.
• Lead balance sheet and ALM strategy.
• Analyze interest rate risk, earnings sensitivity, and stress scenarios.
• Oversee investment portfolio performance and compliance.
• Manage borrowing, wholesale funding, and banking relationships.
• Support capital planning and funding strategies.
• Monitor and mitigate market and interest rate risk.
• Prepare liquidity, capital, ALM, and risk reports.
• Ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
• Chair ALCO and advise executive leadership.
• Partner on growth initiatives and strategic planning.
• Monitor economic, market, and rate trends.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.

2. MBA, CFA, CTP, or related professional designation preferred. 

3. 5-10 years of banking, treasury, finance, or asset/ liability management experience. 

4. Experience with liquidity management, investments, and interest rate risk. 

5. Previous ALCO participation strongly preferred.

6. Experience with regulatory reporting and financial institution accounting. 

7. Ability to analyze and comprehend financial statements, as well as to grasp the impact of financial information. 

8. Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of team.

9. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with people across various functions, management, and external professionals (auditors and regulators).

10. Software Utilized: Word, Excel, Outlook, JHA Silverlake, Synergy, Cognos, Banker’s Dashboard system, Workiva system, and other internet or VPN software as required by responsibilities.
