About the role

Our client is running an AI proof of concept. They need a hands-on Tech Lead to turn the architecture and roadmap into a clear engineering plan, then see it delivered.

You will work closely with AI engineers and partner teams. You keep the work on track, the quality high and the risks visible.

What you will do

• Build and maintain the delivery plan, backlog, milestones and dependencies across cloud, data, agent, model, interface and workflow work

• Coordinate AI engineers and partner teams through a shared backlog, interface definitions and design specs

• Keep the build in line with the approved architecture

• Track progress, quality and engineering metrics

• Report status, risks and dependencies to the project and solution leads

• Lead design, code, integration and readiness reviews

• Make sure testing, documentation, security, traceability and human-review controls are in place

• Spot blockers early, find the root cause and drive the fix

• Manage the move from mock to live integration, demos and releases

• Plan environment readiness, data and connector checks, defect fixes and production support

What we are looking for

• Hands-on delivery of AI or machine learning solutions, including AI agents, generative AI, model integration, evaluation and production support

• Strong Python and API or backend development

• Working knowledge of modern application frameworks and data stores

• Cloud platforms, containers and DevOps, including deployment pipelines, testing, code quality and environment management

• Can turn architecture and business needs into technical plans, work packages, estimates and acceptance criteria

• Strong technical review, troubleshooting, risk management and communication

• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams

• Degree in computer science, engineering, AI, data science or a related field

Good to have

• Multi-agent, RAG, LLM gateway or enterprise AI delivery from proof of concept to production support

• Model evaluation, fine-tuning and guardrail validation

• Cloud-native DevOps with containers and CI/CD

• Agile delivery leadership in regulated or evidence-heavy environments

• Cloud or AI engineering certification

Relocation and work pass

• You will need to relocate to Singapore for the contract term and join our team
