Job Description

As a Security Officer Communications Desk in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Using computer or tablet systems, you will support security-related operations, communicate professionally with employees and guests, and help maintain an organized environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Staff the front desk, greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and access records.
• Monitor access to the facility, receive and direct deliveries, and communicate with appropriate site personnel regarding visitor, driver, and vendor arrivals.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain awareness of front-desk activities and report suspicious activity, access concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
