Digital Marketing Manager

Introduction

iRobot continues to lead the robotics industry, with over 50 million robots sold worldwide, providing valuable solutions to people around the world.
To further expand the direct business of its Japanese subsidiary, iRobot Japan, you will lead performance marketing for Amazon, Rakuten, and Yahoo, and contribute to business growth. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for developing performance marketing strategies, managing budgets, execution of the plan, and tracking daily performance.

Essential Functions/Job Duties:

• Contribute to the overall growth strategy and direction of the business as a member of the Performance Marketing team at Amazon, Rakuten, and Yahoo.

• Responsible for planning, execution and optimization of online advertising, primarily display and search within each platform, working closely with account reps and other stakeholders.

• Plan and create content and creative to improve ad performance in compliance with brand guidelines.

• Measure, analyze and improve advertising and site performance.

• Build good relationships with external partners such as ad agencies, production companies, etc., direct them and lead them to business success.

• Collaborate with team members within the marketing team to align with overall iRobot brand communication strategy.

• Research competitor communication strategies and trends within and outside of the platform and reflect on their own activities.

 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of working experience in digital marketing on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Rakuten, and Yahoo.

• Experience in performance marketing in Japan and familiar with the latest consumer & media trends.

• Strong understanding of digital marketing measurement platforms, digital marketing technology, and data ecosystem

• A strong mix of creative and analytical capabilities in combination with a hands-on attitude to get things done.

• Proven track record of leading multiple, complex tasks simultaneously.

• Fluency in Japanese & English (written and spoken).

• Willingness to thrive in an international environment, with multiple languages and time zones.

• Experience at consumer electronics.
