Enjoy turning marketing plans into campaigns that make a measurable difference? A digital marketing agency is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager with practical digital skills, strong organisation and a focus on delivering excellent client work.
You’ll manage day-to-day digital marketing activity across a portfolio of clients, turning agreed strategies into well-planned campaigns. Working alongside senior marketers, client services and channel specialists, you’ll have support to develop your skills while taking responsibility for the quality and performance of your work.
What you’ll be doing
-
Turning client objectives, audience insights and budgets into practical digital marketing plans.
-
Delivering campaigns and coordinating specialists across search, paid media, content, email and social.
-
Managing briefs, priorities, deadlines and budgets.
-
Analysing results and recommending improvements.
-
Leading day-to-day client updates and meetings within your areas of responsibility.
-
Checking work before publication and raising delivery risks early.
-
Using relevant AI and automation tools responsibly to improve delivery.
Most of your time will focus on client delivery, with occasional opportunities to support the agency’s marketing, contribute to proposals and share knowledge with colleagues.
What you’ll bring
You’ll have practical experience planning and delivering digital marketing activity, ideally within an agency or across multiple clients.
You’ll also bring:
-
A working knowledge of core digital marketing channels and how they work together.
-
Confidence turning analytics and reporting data into clear recommendations.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Organisation, attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
-
Commercial awareness, including managing scope, time and budgets.
-
Curiosity about emerging marketing practices and sound judgement about when to use them.
Experience in SEO, paid media, content, email and CRM, analytics or conversion optimisation would be welcome. You don’t need to be a specialist in every channel.
Why join?
-
Hybrid working: at least two days a week in Exeter, flexible hours and up to 10 Work From Anywhere days a year.
-
25 days’ annual leave, rising to 30 with service, plus family and compassionate leave.
-
Private healthcare, a Mindful Employer commitment and access to corporate fitness memberships.
-
£500 annual training budget, personal development plans, regular reviews and industry events.
-
A progression route to Senior Digital Marketing Manager, subject to performance, readiness and business needs.
-
A supportive team, dog-friendly office and monthly recognition and rewards.
-
Ownership of your work, tools to support you and opportunities to shape the agency’s use of AI.
-
Workplace pension and referral bonuses.
