Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Prevention in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and work with integrity and teamwork while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, package-handling area issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, vehicle lots, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and help maintain orderly movement of personnel and vehicles.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
