Description
Job Title: Outpatient Therapist.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year.
Location: Manhattan, Kansas.
Start Date: Immediate opening.
Supervisor: Director.

Part-time and full-time options available. A typical day might include individual sessions, a shared lunch or food exposure with a client, team collaboration, and time for documentation--all in a warm, recovery-focused environment where you're supported to grow and rest.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and practice of effective counseling skills and demonstrates an ability to build therapeutic rapport with patients and their families.
- Complete comprehensive and ongoing biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessment resulting in appropriate evidenced-based treatment and discharge recommendations.
- Collaborate with the team to make referrals to or communicate with other care providers/resources as indicated.
- Work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans with appropriate outpatient goals and objectives.
- Facilitate group sessions with clinical expertise and general attention to group dynamics, social support, group cohesion and trust, multicultural awareness, therapeutic alliance, and time and boundary management.
- Remains abreast of the most current evidence-based treatments for eating disorders.
- Implements appropriate and creative therapeutic interventions and homework assignments.
- Is diligent to maintaining all licensing and CEU requirements; remains in good standing with the licensing board.
- Completes accurate and thorough documentation in a timely manner (outpatient progress notes, group notes, billing claim forms, etc.).
- Licensed as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT or equivalent in Kansas. Clinical license preferred, but not required.
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field.
- Prior eating disorder experience is welcome, but not required. We provide structured onboarding, supervision, and CEDS-track mentoring to help you develop deep expertise and confidence in this specialty. Passion for working with Eating Disorders is a must!
