You will architect factory layouts, integrate multiple production data streams into actionable insights. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering and and is based in Newark, DE.  This is a fully on-site, in office role.

  • Lead sitewide Lean initiatives and operational excellence programs (Kaizen, VSM, 5S, SMED, PFEP, Standard Work) to eliminate waste and optimize flow.
  • Ability to build dynamic staffing models and capacity analyses for labor and equipment,—identifying bottlenecks and scenario‑modeling alternative staffing strategies.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, chemical engineering or related discipline.
  •  3–5 years of experience in mid- to high-volume assembly environments with increasing technical leadership and system-level ownership.
  • Strong proficiency with AutoCAD (or similar) for layout design and factory optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with factory data systems (MES, Oracle, Tulip).
  • Strong collaborator and change leader who thrives in fast‑paced manufacturing environments, aligning diverse stakeholders around shared operational goals and driving accountability through data, clarity, and trust.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with IoT/IIoT sensors, and digital manufacturing systems.
