We are working with a range of schools around the Bristol and North Somerset area, who are looking for Teaching Assistants to join their teams.  Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Weston-Super-Mare Here at Long-Term Teachers, we want to support you to find the next best role, whether it is to build your confidence and experience as a teaching assistant, or have a flexible position to suit your lifestyle.  You will have the opportunity to step into various classroom settings; EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 and deliver engaging lessons.  The Role Here at Long-Term Teachers, we support schools with Long-Term and Fixed Term needs, from 6 weeks +.  These opportunities can be Part-Time or Full-Time, working around your commitments and availability. We are looking for candidates who have experience working closely with children and/or young people. You must be a patient and nurturing individual who is passionate about supporting children with their educational and social development.  Your role and responsibilities as a teaching assistant will also include: Work collaboratively with Class TeachersAdapt activities to meet the needs of children. Support small group interventions - based on core subjects. Work with SEND children. Challenge children in their work to gain the best learning experiences.  What is expected of you Have experience working with children or young people. Keen to influence and engage children in their learning. Bring an enthusiastic and positive attitudeBring creativity to the classroom and share your own ideas.  Working with Long-term Teachers: We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools. LTT was founded with the aim of creating a genuine, transparent and straightforward service to help candidates secure their next role.
