Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the trucking division, including dispatching, scheduling, and coordination of drivers
- Monitor trucking operations to ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate records of trucking activities, including driver logs, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules
- Work closely with drivers to provide support, training, and guidance
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize trucking routes and maximize efficiency
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance overall performance
- Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and serviced on a regular basis
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in trucking or transportation management
- Strong knowledge of trucking regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- CDL Class A license REQUIRED
