We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of In-Home HVAC Sales Advisors (Comfort Advisors), and Lead Generators. This role focuses on driving residential HVAC system replacement sales, heating and air conditioning upgrades, and home comfort solutions while coaching advisors to maximize performance and conversion.

Responsibilities

As an HVAC Sales Manager overseeing In-Home Sales Advisors and Lead Generators, you will lead the residential HVAC sales team and drive revenue growth through system replacement and upgrade opportunities.

• Lead, train, and manage a team of In-Home HVAC Sales Advisors (Comfort Advisors)

• Drive revenue growth, conversion performance, and overall sales results across residential and light commercial opportunities.

• Coach advisors on solution-based selling, customer needs assessments, product and service options, and presenting the right solutions for the home.

• Go out into the field with Comfort Advisors to train and assist in closing sales.
• Monitor and improve key sales metrics, including closing ratios, average ticket, revenue, lead performance, and individual advisor results.

• Collaborate with installation, service, and operations teams to ensure a smooth customer experience from initial sale through project completion.

• Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing in-home sales professionals.

• Lead weekly sales meetings and provide ongoing coaching around sales strategy, product knowledge, objection handling, closing techniques, and overall performance.
• Track and present accurate sales reports and performance metrics to senior leadership
• Create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
• Oversee our retail lead generation program inside national home improvement stores.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase HVAC lead generation and retail performance.
• Track and report key performance metrics including leads generated, staffing levels, and retail program performance

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 3 years of in-home sales management experience, preferably within HVAC, roofing, solar, home improvement/renovation, or other residential in-home service industries.

• Experience leading sales teams in a residential, in-home sales environment, with a strong understanding of the customer sales process from initial consultation through close.

• Knowledge of HVAC products, heating and air conditioning systems, system design, and installations is a plus, but not required.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Highly metric-driven mindset with focus on sales performance and measurable results.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred

• Strong math skills, including basic calculations related to pricing, measurements, and sales proposals. Geometry and HVAC load-related calculation experience is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop, motivate, and hold accountable a high-performing sales team.
• Motivated leader who can build strong retail partnerships while driving HVAC lead generation performance in store environments.
