Function Description / Professional Tasks
As a SAM Analyst, you will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of software license and contract data throughout their lifecycle. Your work will provide the foundation for effective software compliance, financial transparency, and optimization of software investments.
As a SAM Analyst, you will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of software license and contract data throughout their lifecycle. Your work will provide the foundation for effective software compliance, financial transparency, and optimization of software investments.
What you can do:
− Maintain and manage software license and contract data within our Software Asset Management platform.
− Ensure complete, accurate, and audit-ready documentation of software entitlements, contracts, and licensing metrics.
− Monitor and improve data quality through validation, reconciliation, and continuous data cleansing activities.
− Support the lifecycle management of software licenses, subscriptions, maintenance agreements, and contracts.
− Create reports and dashboards that provide visibility into license consumption, compliance position, and software spend.
− Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and potential compliance risks and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
− Support audits, software publisher reviews, and internal governance processes.
− Collaborate closely with teams across Procurement, Vendor Management, Finance, and IT.
− Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives that increase efficiency and data reliability.
Personal Skills and Education
What you bring:
− Experience in data administration, software licensing, contract management, asset management, procurement support, or a similar analytical role.
− Strong attention to detail and passion for working with data.
− Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
− Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
− Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international environment.
Nice to Have:
− Experience with Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM).
− Knowledge of software licensing models from major vendors such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, IBM, Adobe, VMware, or Salesforce.
− Experience with SAM solutions such as Flexera, ServiceNow SAM Pro, Snow, Raynet, or similar platforms.
− Experience with Power BI, data analytics, or process automation tools.
Education
− Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Data Management, or a related field.
Language Skills
− English oral and written
− Optional: German oral (and written)
Additional Comments
− Willingness to travel
− Hybrid Model: One day a week @office (mandatory)
