What is the role about?
The Programme Co-ordinator is responsible for coordinating programme operations, stakeholder engagement, quality assurance processes and compliance requirements to ensure the successful delivery of contracted services. The role acts as a central point of coordination between operational teams, external partners and support functions, ensuring that programme activity is delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with contractual requirements.
Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Taking Ownership
- Maintain accurate participant, stakeholder and programme records across relevant systems.
- Monitor operational activity to ensure contractual processes are completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Produce and analyse management information reports to support operational decision-making.
- Coordinate actions arising from audits, reviews, commissioner requests and internal meetings.
- Maintain programme documentation, operating procedures and process guidance.
Working Together
- Develop relationships with local stakeholders, referral partners and community organisations and introduce them to the Engagement Officers
- Act as a key contact point for external partners and respond to stakeholder enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate and support stakeholder meetings, forums and partnership events.
- Support the identification of referral opportunities and partnership development initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to identify gaps in local provision and coordinate appropriate solutions.
- Represent the programme at meetings, events and networking opportunities as required.
- Ensuring Invoice and financial requests are paid within the defined timeframe
Being Fair, Open, and Honest
- Undertake quality assurance reviews of participant records, files and programme activity.
- Identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities through quality monitoring activity.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to Team Leaders to support service improvement.
- Support the implementation of quality improvement actions and best practice initiatives.
- Maintain audit trails and evidence required for internal and external assurance activities.
- Assist in preparing for commissioner audits, external inspections and internal reviews.

Essential Attainments:
- Experience of working within a contract-driven, target-focused environment.
- Experience of stakeholder engagement and partnership working.
- Experience of administrative coordination and management information reporting.
- Experience of quality assurance, compliance monitoring or audit activities.
- Experience of maintaining accurate records and database systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- A minimum of two A-Levels or an equivalent Level three Diploma.
- GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level two qualification). OR achievement of a Level two in Literacy Assessment at interview stage.
