Job Description

The Business Administration Analyst's primary focus is to ensure prompt and accurate cash applications, assist in collection efforts and create reports and analyses at the direction of the Supervisor in order to minimize AR outstanding.


Duties & Responsibilities (Essential functions are identified in bold and italicized text below.)

  • Must work safely at all times.
  • Ensure cash postings are completed accurately and timely.
  • Assist with settlement as needed.
  • Work with customers and internal departments to resolve unapplied cash receipts.
  • Follow-up on aging AR items as directed by management team and departmental procedures.
  • Crosstrain within the department.
  • Research and perform data analysis and performance metrics, such as bad debt reserve analysis, aging reports and invoice data for accruals and other needs, as directed by management team.
  • Participate with efforts surrounding integration of newly acquired entities as directed by Supervisor.
  • Create invoices, debit memos and credit memos, including but not limited to bad debt write offs and account adjustments.
  • Adhere to department policies and procedures including SOX controls, both key and otherwise.
  • Assist with identification and implementation of system and process opportunities where efficiencies and accuracy of data can be gained.
  • Maintain positive and successful relationships with other functional areas including Operations, Accounts Payable, Accounting, Treasury, Credit / Risk and Tax.
  • Anticipate customer (both internal and external) needs and foster excellent customer service.
  • Issue customer refund requests as approved by management team.
  • Complete special projects as directed by management.

  • Demonstrated ability to proactively work with department leaders and multiple levels of management.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.

​Experience/Education

  • Associates degree or higher or three or more years of accounts receivable experience is required.
  • Oracle Cloud experience is required.
  • Operational system knowledge (i.e., Right Angle, Symphony, PetroMan, etc.) is required.

Compensation Range

Hourly: $20.00 - $29.00
