About the Role

The Senior Recruiter will support Distribution hiring across the Americas, serving as a strategic talent acquisition partner to hiring managers and business leaders. This role is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment, developing proactive sourcing strategies and building sustainable talent pipelines to support current and anticipated business growth.

This individual will use market intelligence, recruiting analytics and innovative sourcing strategies to deliver high-quality talent while improving time to hire and the overall candidate and hiring manager experience.

As a senior member of the Talent Acquisition team, this role will also contribute to process improvements, mentor colleagues and help advance regional and global talent acquisition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Business Partnership: Build strong relationships with Distribution hiring managers across the Americas, conducting intake meetings, establishing recruitment strategies, providing regular updates and proactively identifying and resolving hiring challenges.

  • Talent Pipeline Development: Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for current and anticipated Distribution hiring needs, leveraging market intelligence, industry networks and competitive insights to support ongoing business growth.
  • Data-Driven Recruiting: Leverage Workday and other available reporting tools to analyze recruiting metrics, identify trends, forecast hiring needs and develop actionable insights. Use data to monitor time to fill, pipeline conversion, aging requisitions and sourcing effectiveness, proactively addressing gaps and recommending improvements.
  • Market Intelligence: Maintain a strong understanding of the Distribution talent market across the Americas, including talent availability, compensation trends, competitor activity and emerging sourcing strategies, using these insights to advise hiring managers.
  • Candidate and Hiring Manager Experience: Manage interview processes, coordinate timely feedback, communicate consistently with candidates and hiring managers, and ensure a professional and engaging recruitment experience throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve recruiting processes, systems and tools, with a focus on efficiency, scalability, consistency and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Global Mobility and other stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the recruitment process and support business and regional talent priorities.
  • Talent Acquisition Initiatives: Support employer branding, diversity, inclusion and other regional and global talent acquisition initiatives to strengthen Vanderlande's position as an employer of choice.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely candidate records in Workday, ensuring compliance with applicable employment legislation, company policies, EEO requirements and relevant OFCCP regulations.
  • Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Serve as a subject matter expert in recruitment, sharing best practices, mentoring and supporting the development of other recruiters across the Americas.
  • Continuous Development: Stay current on recruiting technologies, industry trends and emerging talent acquisition practices, identifying opportunities to strengthen the team's capabilities and effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties and support additional talent acquisition initiatives as assigned.
