Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Vascular Surgeon to join our multidisciplinary surgical team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will have extensive post-fellowship experience and demonstrated expertise in advanced vascular surgery, with strong surgical and microsurgical capabilities.
Experience or formal training in Robotic Surgery will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist consultation and comprehensive management of patients with vascular diseases.
- Perform advanced open and minimally invasive vascular surgical procedures.
- Manage complex arterial, venous, and peripheral vascular conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up.
- Utilize vascular imaging and diagnostic investigations for surgical planning.
- Apply advanced surgical and microsurgical techniques where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with interventional radiology, cardiology, general surgery, anesthesia, and other relevant specialties.
- Participate in vascular emergency and on-call services.
- Support the development and implementation of advanced surgical techniques within the department.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior physicians and surgical trainees.
- Participate in clinical research, teaching, quality improvement, and departmental activities.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies, patient-safety standards, and SCFHS requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent).
- Recognized postgraduate qualification/board certification in Vascular Surgery.
- SCFHS Consultant classification/registration or eligibility.
- Preferred: 5 or more years of experience following completion of the subspecialty fellowship.
- Strong experience in complex vascular surgery.
- Preferred: advanced surgical and microsurgical skills.
- Preferred: Robotic surgery training and/or demonstrated experience with robotic surgical platforms.

Candidate Profile
The preferred candidate is a senior Consultant Vascular Surgeon with 5+ years of post-subspecialty fellowship experience, strong surgical and microsurgical skills, and experience managing complex vascular cases. Additional Robotic Surgery training will be considered a significant advantage.
