We're looking for an ambitious and client-focused Financial Services & Employee Benefits Consultant to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and providing expert financial advice that genuinely improves outcomes for clients. You'll work with both individual and corporate clients, helping them navigate pensions, investments, protection solutions and employee benefits programmes, while developing long-term trusted advisor relationships.

How you'll make an impact
- Deliver agreed new business and income targets through the provision of ethical, compliant and client-focused financial advice.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional levels of service and support.
- Build new client relationships through networking, referrals and market engagement activities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key introducers and referrers.
- Coach and support referrers to identify opportunities and connect potential clients with Gallagher.
- Demonstrate specialist knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, group risk and employee benefits solutions.
- Manage corporate employee benefits and group risk arrangements, including renewals, scheme implementation, re-broking exercises, claims support and member communications.
- Conduct annual client reviews and consultations as required.
- Research market solutions and recommend products aligned to client needs and objectives.
- Complete detailed financial reviews, fact finds and risk profiling exercises.
- Prepare tailored financial recommendations and reports for both individual and corporate clients.
- Support clients throughout the decision-making process, ensuring they fully understand their options.
- Maintain strong relationships with accountants, solicitors and other professional contacts to generate mutual business opportunities.
- Keep clients informed of relevant market developments, legislative changes and new financial solutions.
About you
- Experience in a similar Financial Services role.
- QFA (Qualified Financial Adviser) designation in line with the Central Bank of Ireland's Minimum Competency Code.
- Relevant retirement planning or employee benefits qualification, such as RPA (Retirement Planning Adviser) or CFP®.
- Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and financial planning solutions.
- Proven ability to build trusted client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining CPD requirements and regulatory standards.
Desirable
- Experience managing employee benefits and group risk arrangements.
- Knowledge of corporate pension schemes, group life assurance, group income protection and healthcare solutions.
- Established network within the Irish financial services market.
