We are hiring a German-fluent Senior Financial Accountant (m/f/d) to take on a crucial leadership function within our finance division. This position involves managing local statutory accounting (HGB), assisting with global consolidated reporting (IFRS), supervising two junior team members, and contributing to our ongoing ERP integration.

Key Duties

• Financial Statements & GL: Direct daily general ledger functions and oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes in accordance with German statutory standards (HGB).
• Corporate Reporting: Deliver precise financial data packages complying with IFRS guidelines for corporate consolidation.
• Team Supervision: Mentor and offer technical support to two accountants responsible for AP and AR operations.
• Core Accounting Operations: Manage intercompany reconciliations, oversee fixed asset accounting, ensure adherence to internal compliance policies, and optimize financial procedures.
• Systems & Digitalization: Serve as a subject-matter expert during the roll-out and optimization of our Infor LN ERP software.
• Audit Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for both internal auditors and external auditing firms.

Applicant Profile

Required Qualifications:

• Languages: C1-level fluency in both German (for local compliance and daily management) and English (for group-level collaboration).
• Experience: Proven track record in corporate financial accounting, ideally within manufacturing or automotive production sectors.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of German GAAP (HGB) combined with solid working experience in IFRS group reporting environments.
• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, OR a relevant commercial apprenticeship complemented by a certified Bilanzbuchhalter qualification.
• Work Ethic: Methodical, action-oriented, with strong relational skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

• Background in the automotive supply chain sector.
• Exposure to Infor LN (or another major ERP equivalent) alongside a desire to adopt digital tools.
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for employee development, plus readiness for occasional project-related travel.
