Pembina Controls Inc. is seeking a Junior Inside Sales Representative
This position consists of but is not limited to selling Instrumentation and Electrical Control products and providing Technical Sales Support to our clientele. The candidate will demonstrate their ability to generate sales through sales leads, cold calling, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- In office position only, no remote work.
- Answer calls and emails to the order desk and generate quotes and sales orders emphasizing product features and benefits, along with making customers aware of our other product lines that may be of interest to them.
- Approach contacts that are generated by external sources or leads.
- Make unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into quotations and sales.
- Make follow-up calls on quotations and to existing customers.
- Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues.
- Attend periodic sales training and sales meetings.
- Appropriately communicate brand identity.
- Assist in the warehouse to ensure orders get sent to the clients in a timely manner.
- Participation in the company HSE program including keeping a clean and safe environment.
- Other tasks that may be assigned to support our business.
Skills & Responsibilities
- Direct work experience in an Inside Sales capacity will be an asset.
- Strong computer skills with a firm understanding of MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and finalize sales.
- Able to build and maintain relationships with customers and team members.
- Exceptional communication skills, highly proficient in English.
- Self motivated with high energy and engaging level of enthusiasm.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and expand knowledge of products and technical expertise.
- Experience in sizing flow meters and understanding of process instrumentation as asset.
Education
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent GED.
- Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls or a combination of education and experience an asset.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry will be considered an asset.
