Greater Nashua Mental Health is seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Therapist to join our Child, Adolescent & Family Services (CAFS) team. This position provides evidence-based and evidence-informed therapeutic treatment and case management services to children, adolescents, and families experiencing severe mental illness, with the goal of empowering clients to lead full and satisfying lives. Services are delivered in office, home, school, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

•  Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy services and case management support.
•  Complete all documentation within agency standards and required timelines.
•  Coordinate treatment planning with internal teams and external community providers.
•  Screen and assess clients and make appropriate referrals to CAFS programs and other community services.
•  Complete treatment plans, CANS assessments, and CMCP documentation by required due dates.
•  Maintain an accurate and current schedule within the electronic medical record.
•  Communicate effectively with colleagues, collateral contacts, and supervisors regarding client care.
•  Participate in staff meetings, clinical meetings, supervision, and evidence-based practice consultations.
•  Manage email, voicemail, and other communications in a timely and professional manner.
•  Participate in ongoing clinical training, evidence-based practice development, and suicide prevention education.
•  Perform all activities in accordance with ethical standards and professional practice guidelines.
•  Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

•  Master's Degree required in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
•  Licensed or license-eligible in the State of New Hampshire.
•  1-2 years of experience working with children, adolescents, or families preferred.
•  Knowledge of developmental theory, children’s mental health, family dynamics, and systems theory.
•  Familiarity with community resources and behavioral health systems.
•  Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and time-management skills.
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
•  Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
•  Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required.

Salary Range

$54,438 - $84,584
