Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Allentown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm activity, and provide outstanding customer service. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Support a professional workplace environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
