Description
GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
1. To attend and treat patients who present to the A&E Services
2. To identify patient who need further referral and treatment to consultant .
JOB DESCRIPTION :
1. Ensure compliance to the termed Vision and Mission statements, goals, objectives and values of the Company.
2. To attend all patients
3. Physical examination
4. Investigate to support the diagnosis
5. Consultation and appropriate treatment
6. Referral to Specialist if necessary
7. Admit patient to ward if necessary
8. Fill up the necessary forms to enable patient to seek treatment
9. To attend to all emergency cases in the ward until the arrival of Specialist
10. To do pre-employment Medical Surveillance for the Panel Companies if needed
11. To complete medical reports for patients when required
12. To assist and participate in staff training program if necessary in A&E
13. To participate in health talks and forums if necessary
14. To ensure all inter services task are well communicated and performed together with the spirit of teamwork within the organization and group.
15. To report all accident, incidents and hazard to the Management and complete the incident report form for each accident or incident
16. To perform such duties as assigned by the Management from time to time when necessary.
17. Further instruction by the Top Management of PSH or KPJ as a whole.
18. Ensure to actively participate in all quality initiatives and activities by the Company.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Ensure all policies and procedures of the MSQH Hospital Accreditation Standard, Baby Friendly Hospital Initiatives, and other applicable statutory, regulatory and hospital requirement are adhered to and records maintained, if and when these programs are implemented.
2. Participate in 5S activities and comply with the specified requirements.
3. Ensure adhere to The KPJ Way/ Standard People Practice (SPP).
4. Ensure the policies on patients and family’s rights are addressed at all times.
5. Ensure to actively participate in all quality initiatives and activities by the Company
6. To carried out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations 1994.
To take reasonable care at work for the safety of yourself and other persons.
To co-operate with your employer or any other persons in the discharge of any duty.
To wear or use any protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer.
To comply with any instruction or measure on Occupational Safety and Health.
7. Ensure all policies and procedures of ISO 37001 Anti Bribery Management System (ABMS) are adhered to and responsible for integrity principles, practices, and activities at hospitals & companies if and when these programs are implemented.
JOB REQUIREMENT :
Education:
Must possess at least a Medical Degree or equivalent from recognized institutions
Full registration with Malaysian Medical Council
Current Annual Practicing Certificate
Knowledge and Experiences:
Completed at least 4 years of service with the Government
Special skills required
Knowledge in healthcare system management, medical quality assurance, quality improvement and risk management
Personal attributes
Ability to work independently and a team player.
Demonstrates positive attitude, passion and pride.
Communicate using appropriate terminology for the patient, their families and other healthcare professionals.
