Description
We are looking for a Procurement Engineer with relevant experience in sourcing and procurement. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement activities, supplier development, cost optimization, localization initiatives, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Procure-to-Pay (P2P) sourcing activities for parts procurement.
Drive sourcing initiatives, localization projects, supplier development, and cost optimization.
Coordinate with global stakeholders, category managers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Understand RFQ requirements, float RFQs to suppliers, and evaluate quotations.
Prepare cost comparisons, techno-commercial evaluations, and sourcing recommendations.
Negotiate prices, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers.
Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) and Sales Orders (SOs) in ERP systems (BAAN/Infor LN or similar).
Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Coordinate inspections, logistics, invoicing, dispatch, and payment follow-ups.
Maintain supplier databases and procurement records.
Track sourcing project pipelines and report savings initiatives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, Values, and Code of Conduct.
Required Skills
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management.
Ability to lead cost-saving and localization initiatives.
Good analytical and engineering skills, including drawing interpretation.
Strong technical and commercial understanding.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (BAAN, Infor LN, SAP, or similar).
Self-driven with good planning and reporting capabilities.
