They are seeking a Human Resource Strategist to shape people strategy, strengthen HR systems, and foster a high-performing, purpose-driven, and regenerative workplace. This managerial role focuses on strategic HR, employee development, organisational culture, and talent management, while an external HR agency manages routine administration.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR leadership role for hospitality brands.
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Psychology, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in recruitment, workforce planning, KPI development, and performance management.
- Experience managing HR functions within distributed or remote teams, including collaboration across different time zones and locations.
- Background in non-profit organizations, organizational development, or coaching is an advantage.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, with confidence in presentations and stakeholder interactions.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and perspectives.
- Strong documentation, record-keeping, and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong writing and communication abilities, with the ability to clearly convey ideas across diverse groups.
- A friendly, cheerful, outgoing, and positive personality, with the ability to create an engaging and supportive work environment.
Responsibilites
HR Strategy & Organizational Development
- Lead HR strategy by identifying organizational gaps, opportunities, and people priorities.
- Develop sustainable HR systems aligned with regenerative values and organizational goals.
- Partner with leadership to strengthen people practices and organizational culture.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead strategic recruitment aligned with company values, culture, and workforce needs.
- Conduct interviews and assess candidates for suitability and cultural fit.
- Strengthen recruitment processes and provide strategic direction to the HR Agency.
HR Systems & Integration
- Review and enhance HR systems and people processes for greater efficiency and sustainability.
- Develop structures for benefits, career progression, capacity building, and employee support.
- Design practical HR solutions aligned with organizational resources and needs.
Performance & Talent Development
- Develop performance management and feedback systems that support employee growth.
- Establish career pathways aligned with individual capabilities, goals, and organizational needs.
- Identify skill gaps and implement development and capacity-building initiatives.
Culture & Employee Wellbeing
- Foster a workplace culture built on trust, care, collaboration, and psychological safety.
- Develop feedback mechanisms to strengthen employee engagement and organizational learning.
- Promote regenerative people practices across distributed and remote teams.
Employee Relations
- Manage employee relations matters with a fair, empathetic, and restorative approach.
- Address performance, cultural alignment, and workplace concerns proactively.
- Develop strategies to strengthen employee motivation, engagement, and retention.
HR Function Oversight
- Provide strategic guidance to the HR Agency and coordinate with the Admin Manager.
- Monitor HR reporting, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
- Oversee payroll coordination to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
