Position Summary...
The Director, Professional Practices, Quality & Special Programs leads the professional practices and quality infrastructure that enables Global Audit to deliver consistent, high-quality, standards-aligned work globally. This role collaborates with the CAE Chief of Staff, Global Audit leadership, and cross-functional partners to define and maintain audit methodology, strengthen QAIP, support IIA Standards alignment, govern AuditBoard-enabled processes, and advance training, onboarding, and audit lifecycle enablement. The Director also oversees selected special programs and quick-turn review processes that require strong audit judgment, discretion, documentation discipline, and coordinated execution, including related party transaction support and targeted procurement/global sourcing audit support.About the team:
The Transformation & Enablement team supports the Internal Audit Department globally through four key areas: Methodology, Insights, Transformation, and Global Coordination. This team empowers the audit organization to operate consistently, make informed decisions, pursue continuous improvement, and maintain alignment across all markets. By providing strategic guidance and tools, the team enhances audit planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance efforts worldwide, ensuring effective collaboration with leadership and stakeholders to uphold high standards and drive successful audit outcomes.
What you'll do...
- Partner with Global Audit leadership to define methodology, quality, training, and technology-enabled audit priorities.
- Oversee methodology, QAIP, IIA Standards alignment, AuditBoard processes, onboarding, training, and audit lifecycle guidance.
- Embed AI, automation, analytics, and modern tools into audit practices.
- Identify quality themes, root causes, and improvement opportunities, and partner with audit leaders to drive consistent execution and continuous improvement.
- Drive quality improvement, consistency, and future readiness.
- Own procurement/global sourcing stakeholder support, international home office support, and related party processes.
- Lead and develop a team responsible for professional practices, quality support, audit enablement, special programs, global coordination, and technology-enabled audit improvement.
- Strong knowledge of IIA Standards, QAIP, audit methodology, controls, risk assessment, and audit lifecycle practices.
- Proven ability to drive consistency, quality, and continuous improvement across global teams.
- Experience using technology, analytics, automation, or AI-enabled solutions to improve audit effectiveness and efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive, quick-turn matters with sound judgment, discretion, and documentation discipline.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and global partners.
- Skilled in communicating complex audit, quality, and process matters clearly and professionally.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
